Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)

 

Responsibilities for this position include

 
  • Direct client programs and manage staff implementation of services
  • Supervise Gateway Therapists and Program Supervisors
  • Design client program goals and objectives; observe and report on client progress
  • Conduct weekly staff training and provide feedback to employees on new developments within clients' programs
  • Serve as liaison to public school district; work with district administrators on program development
  • Design and deliver training to parents and staff
  • Conduct assessments including Functional Behavior Analyses
  • Develop Behavior Interventions Plans
 

Qualifications

 
  • BCBA or BCBA-D
  • Licensure in the state of Virginia to practice ABA
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience using the principles and methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach children with autism
  • Experience supervising/training staff and parents
  • Thorough understanding of typical child development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and computer skills

Assistant Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®)

 

The Applied Behavior Analysis BCaBA Supervisor works with the Clinical Director (ABA Program) and a team of Qualified Behavioral Technicians to provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities.

 

The BCaBA Supervisor consults, provides training to caregivers, conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCBA/BCaBA Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients on their caseload.

 

The BCaBA Supervisor is required to adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts. The BCBA/BCaBA Supervisor maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Clinical Director.

 

Education and Experience Required

 
  • BCaBA certification and licensed in state of Virginia
  • Preferable at least one (1) year experience managing / supervising direct clinical staff and doing direct in-home therapy
  • Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services
  • Must be proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
 
 
 
 

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®)

 

Responsibilities for this position include

 
  • Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst
  • Collection of data and completion of treatment notes as required
 

Qualifications

 
  • Graduated with at least a Bachelors degree in psychology or related field
  • Availability of 10-20 hours per week from 2pm-7pm
  • Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance
  • Able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull bend, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Energetic, outgoing, and have a passion for working with children
  • Possess a current RBT® credential and be in good standing with the BACB® or;
  • Willing to pursue the credential prior to working with children
  • At least one (1) year experience working with children
